Higgins Racing was created in preparation for the 2010 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup, which takes a select group of young, aspiring drivers and introduces them to the exciting world of motorsports. The Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup is the first of its kind, recognizing the need for a more conscious, "greener" approach to the world of motorsports. Racing with slightly modified Jettas, featuring the TDI clean diesel engine, competition takes place on some of the most challenging road courses in North America. Featured stops in Canada, Mexico, Georgia, New Jersey and Virginia ensure exposure on a national level.
