The Driver
With Texas based roots, Keegan Higgins discovered his passion for racing at a young age, intensifying after he was given his first go-kart. His natural ability for automotive mechanics grew while he spent his high school years in Southern California. To pursue a senior level education, focused on racing, Keegan moved to North Carolina to pursue his education at NASCAR Technical Institute, NTI.
The Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup will be Keegan’s debut into a professional race series. After his first qualifier, it was made even more apparent that he is someone to keep an eye on in the future. Keegan says, “This has been my dream since I was young and I am so excited about this opportunity. The sponsors really make a difference, I wouldn’t be able to pursue this without their dedication and support. So many great companies are willing to share in my dream and help make it a reality.”
